Spyros Capralos inducted into the FITS Hall of Fame

The International Federation of Cinema, Television and Sports (FICTS) presented The Garland of Honour to Spyros Capralos at a ceremony in Milan. An award for his work promoting culture and ethics as president of the European Olympic Committees.

« Receiving the Garland of Honour and joining the FICTS Hall of Fame alongside so many iconic figures from sports, film and television is both a lesson in humility and something profoundly meaningfulthe Greek man said. This recognition does not belong to me alone. It belongs to the entire Olympic family in Europe and to all those who work every day, often behind the scenes, to to promote and defend Olympic values through sport, culture and education. »

Capralos joins former IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch, Yelena Isinbayeva, Johan Cruyff, Serguei Bubka, Mike Tyson, Robert Redford, Leni Riefenstahl, Ennio Morricone, Martin Scorsese and Hugh Laurie in this Hall of Fame, which has more than 150 members.
