Great first in Spain. The delegation of athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will include more women than men. The national Olympic committee completed its selection on Monday July 8, after the qualification of the men's basketball team. Spain will be represented at the Paris 2024 Games by 382 athletes: 192 women and 190 men. At the Barcelona Games in 1992, the only summer edition organized in Spain, the delegation included 297 athletes and only 125 women. At Paris 2024, Spain will be present in 31 sports on the program.
