The political situation between the two countries hardly encourages optimism, but South Korea still believes in the prospect of a joint candidacy with its northern neighbor for the Summer Games in 2032. The agency UPI reports that the Seoul authorities are currently working on a promotional campaign for the Olympic project aimed at the general public. It will be structured around a series of promotional videos, lasting 20, 30 and 90 seconds, extolling the merits of a candidacy of the two Koreas for the Games in 2032, but also the advantages of Seoul as a stronghold of the international sport. The public agency in charge of the advertising campaign would be looking for a personality, ideally a sports personality, well-known in Korea and abroad, to embody the Olympic project. The promotional spots will be broadcast on South Korean television channels and social networks.
