The Executive Committee of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG) met for the last time this year in Portimão, Portugal. The meeting also served to launch the application phase for the organization of the 2029, 2031 and 2033 Mediterranean Beach Games, and the 2034 Mediterranean Games. The deadline for expressing interest is the 31th January 2026The host cities will be designated at the ICMG General Assembly on August 20, 2026 in Taranto (Italy), on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Games.
