Sharapova will have to wait

Russia

Maria Sharapova will have to wait before knowing her fate. According to Shamil Tarpishchev, the president of the Russian tennis federation, her hearing in the meldonium doping case could be postponed until June 2016. The Russian player has been provisionally suspended since her announcement of a positive test during the Australian Open last January. She faces a sanction which could go up to 4 years of suspension.
