Hungary is not a neutral country for World Aquatics. Budapest hosted the 2017 World Championships, and will host them again in 2027. The IF has installed its temporary headquarters in the Hungarian capital, where it will settle permanently in two years, in another building. With this in mind, it announced a series of strategic partnerships to strengthen its presence in the region.
