World Boxing now has 118 membersAt the end of July, the FI approved seven new memberships from four continents. Bolivia, El Salvador, Israel, Micronesia, Somalia, Central African Republic and Haiti joined the ranks, just weeks before the first World Boxing Championships, Liverpool (September 4-14).

All the new national federations followed a rigorous application process to join World Boxing, in particular by providing guarantees in terms of transparency, governance and the fight against doping.
