Threat of bad weather for Senegal. A little over two years before the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, its national anti-doping agency is about to be placed on the " watch list »of the World Anti-Doping Agency. Small consolation: it is not the only one sanctioned by this warning. The WADA Executive Committee has taken the same decision for the national anti-doping organizations of six other countries: Namibia, Pakistan, Samoa, Uruguay, Panama and Uganda. WADA gives them a period of four months, until January 12, 2025, to comply and thus be removed from the monitoring list. Otherwise, they will be declared non-compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code. Their country will therefore not be able to organize international events, among other sanctions.
