The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee is cultivating its relations with the International Federations. NOC Vice-President Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Al Saud met with Kerrith Brown, President of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation, in Riyadh. The two discussed ways to improve their cooperation in the development of MMA. including opportunities to host international tournaments "Saudi Arabia has been particularly active in combat sports in recent months. It notably hosted a UFC show earlier this year as well as the highly publicized boxing fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
The Saudi NOC also hosted World Triathlon President Antonio Arimany. This was an opportunity to discuss cooperation between the two organizations, as well as the Saudi Olympic Academy's programs for training specialized professionals. Arimany also praised Saudi Arabia's efforts to develop the sport.
