A record-breaking season. The IFSC has taken stock of2025: A historic year for para-climbingThe World Cup has recorded a unprecedented level of participation (303 athletes in total, including 189 newcomers). For the first time, all five continents were represented at the World Cup and World Championships. A record was broken at the World Championships in Seoul with 29 nations/territories in the running.

The World Cup saw 23 nations from five continents reach the podium, while 17 nations won medals at the World Championships in Seoul. The bar was also raised in terms of the program with 19 categories at the World Championships and during the World Cup stages in Salt Lake City and Laval. The Innsbruck event went even further by offering 20 categories.
