It is now certain that electronic games will not make their Olympic debut at the Paris Games in 2024, but the French capital is establishing itself as one of the strongholds of eSports on a global level. In 2019, it will host the final of one of the biggest events of its kind: the League of Legends Worlds. The game's publisher, Riot Games, took advantage of the end of the 2018 edition, currently organized in Incheon, South Korea, to unveil the host cities of the next three world championships: Paris in 2019, China in 2020 and a North American city in 2021. In Paris, the League of Legends Worlds final will take place at the AccorHotels Arena.
