The trend is confirmed. After swimming and basketball, to name just the latest examples, field hockey also had a historic Paris 2024 Games in terms of following and digital engagements. Its international body, the FIH (International Hockey Federation), published the most telling figures of the event. The number of video views reached 31,5 million, up 1000% compared to the Tokyo 2020 Games. There was also a spectacular increase in the number of followers on social networks, up more than 500% compared to Tokyo 2020. The Paris 2024 Games generated 125 million impressions on the FIH's social networks, a result more than 110% higher than the previous edition in Japan.
