La International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) organized a special day at Europa-Park, Germany's largest amusement park, on December 14th. Fourteen children with disabilities had the opportunity to learn Nordic skiing for the first time at Skitty World Nordic, the universe dedicated to cross-country skiing that the park has been setting up every winter since 2016.
An essential animation for " the potential recruitment of new followers "and to ensure the survival of winter sports over time" according to Dimitrije Lazarovski, FIS Development Programme Director. " Europa-Park is an excellent example of how formats of snow promotion can be successfully integrated into such an environment. "Building on this success, the organizers are now planning a summer version.
