The DOSB is being transparent with the four German candidates

Three months to refine their project. The German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) sent the questionnaire for the final evaluation of their concept to four German candidates to host the Olympic and Paralympic GamesBerlin, Hamburg, Cologne-Rhine-Ruhr and Munich have until June 4th to finalize their application based on this document, which will be used to evaluate the different proposals.

In an effort to be transparent, the DOSB and the federal government have put in place this assessment system to identify the project with the best international prospects and enjoying broad national support The questionnaire, released, is divided into five categories: international competitiveness and national acceptance ; athletic and operational skills; vision and legacy ; costs and financing; special infrastructure projects.

The scores for each criterion will be combined to obtain an overall result and support the final decision-making process. One of these four projects will be officially selected during the extraordinary general meeting of DOSB on September 26 in Baden-Baden.
