Morocco wants to think

CAN

Postponement or not? The Moroccan government is “taking time to reflect” before saying whether the country will organize CAN 2015 in January, after the African Confederation (CAF) refused to postpone the tournament due to the Ebola epidemic. “The government will take the time to reflect before responding,” declared the minister, Mohamed Ouzzine, before a parliamentary committee, in comments reported to AFP by his entourage. “It is a strategic and important decision that requires patience and deep reflection,” he added, according to the same source. Morocco, which is due to host the CAN for the second time, requested its postponement on October 10 due to the spread of the Ebola virus. But CAF refused, giving Morocco 5 days to keep the organization on the scheduled date or throw in the towel.
