More than 30 IFs at the ASOIF workshop on athletes' health

The ASOIF Medical and Scientific Advisory Group (AMSCG) held a workshop on May 6-7 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Sixty medical officials from 33 international federations, including five winter IFs, participated in this meeting, along with legal experts and university representatives. The health of female athletes, the role of artificial intelligence in athletes' health and the latest trends in injury prevention were notably mentioned.

Our workshop brings together an incredible wealth of expertise with the presence of FI medical presidents, orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and health and wellness specialists. This is not just a discussion forum, buta way to achieve practical results, to encourage collaboration and to facilitate the provision of the tools and support needed to address complex challenges. » The workshop also provided an opportunity to discuss the specific challenges faced by IFs in ensuring athlete health, to present proven initiatives and to consider collaborative solutions.
