Created 2014, World Anti-Doping Agency Play True Day aims to mobilize the sports community to promote the importance of clean sport. The 2025 edition is a resounding success, with WADA noting the participation of more than 100 countries, as well as a 49% increase in social media engagement compared to the previous year. More than 386.000 interactions were recorded on the different platforms.
“Over the years, our Fair Play Day campaign has seen exponential growth thanks to the involvement of the entire community clean sport, rejoices WADA President Witold Bańka. This year’s theme – Play True: It Starts with You – reaffirmed that to advance our collaborative global movement for clean sport, we need everyone's contribution. Thank you to everyone who took part in the campaign and contributed to the more than 386 interactions, illustrating individual commitment within the same team. The next edition will take place on April 18, 2026.
