The flame begins its final month of its journey

The days are numbered. The Olympic torch relay, launched in Rome in December, begins its final month of travel. The flame will remain in the Emilia-Romagna region until January 8thwith stops in Ferrara and Parma, and will return there on January 16. The relay will pass through Liguria and the city of Genoa on January 9, arriving in Piedmont the following day (Cuneo, Turin, Novara).

The flame will make a detour via the Aosta Valley on January 12th, then will head towards Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and three days in Trentino-Alto Adige (January 27-29), before returning to Lombardy, where she will remain until the opening ceremony. She will be in Livigno on January 30, Sondrio on the 31st, Lecco on February 1, Bergamo on the 2nd, Como on the 3rd, Monza on the 4th, and finally Milan on the 5th, the day before the opening ceremony. She will have traveled more than 12.000 kilometers and crossed all 110 provinces of the country.
