Kirsty Coventry's message to Lindsey Vonn after her nasty fall

All eyes were on Cortina this Sunday for the women's descentThe race marked by the legend Lindsey Vonn, who came out of retirement specifically to try and get back on an Olympic podium. Unfortunately, the American was victim of a bad fall and finished her Games on a stretcher, before being evacuated by helicopter. Heartbreaking.

IOC President Kirsty Coventry wanted to send her a message of support : " Dear Lindsey, we are all thinking of you. You are an incredible inspiration, and you will always be an Olympic champion. "Lindsey Vonn, aged 41, maintains one of the most impressive records in the history of alpine skiing with" two Olympic medals in downhill (gold in 2010, bronze in 2018), another in Super G (bronze in 2010), two world championship titles and four large crystal globes.
