African athletes will be present this year in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing and skeleton.
South Africa arrives with five athletesA record in its history. Benin, represented by Nathan Tchibozo (alpine skiing), and Guinea-Bissau, represented by Winston Tang (alpine skiing), will make their debut at the Winter Olympic Games. Kenya, Eritrea, Nigeria, Morocco, and Madagascar will also participate.
