The 41st seminar of secretaries general of the National Olympic Committees of Africa will take place from September 27 to 28, in Maputo, in Mozambique. A strategic turning point to shape the future of the African Olympic movement ", estimates the Association of African NOCs (ANOCA), which has just confirmed the date. This seminar will provide an opportunity to take stock of the 2021-2024 cycle and define the strategic axes for the period 2025-2028.
The event is intended to be " a laboratory of ideas and solutions, so that African sport can assert itself as a key player on the international scene ". Issues of sports development, training of technical staff, fight against doping, promotion of gender equality in sport and strengthening the governance of African sports institutions will be addressed in particular.
