The International Wrestling Union inaugurated a office dedicated to grappling, MMA and pankration at the International Sports House in Lausanne. It will serve as an operational center for the development and governance of these three disciplines. Michal Buchel has been appointed director of this office.
The UWW announced the establishment of a working group with four priorities: the development of grappling, MMA and pankration, harmonization and strengthening international cooperation, support for national federations, as well as the creating new opportunities for athletes of the whole world.
