With less than four years to go until the Los Angeles 2028 Games, where flag football will make its Olympic debut as an additional sport, the NFL is stepping up its pace. It has announced that it will host the premier NFL Flag Continental Series: Europe, a one-day tournament in which women's teams from all over Europe compete. It is held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.Five teams of under-14 female players from Britain, Germany, France, Austria and Spain will compete in the only stadium built specifically for the NFL outside the United States. Each of them will represent a club in the American professional league that has Global Markets Program rights in their respective country. This unique program allows NFL teams to have marketing rights in territories outside the United States.
