The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) paid tribute to Ukrainian athlete Oleksii Khabarov (31 years old). He was killed on August 19 in the fighting with the Russian army in the Donetsk regionHe joined the Ukrainian Defense Forces in August 2023. Khabarov finished 12th at the 2014 World Junior Championships in 10-meter rifle. His career was also marked by several Ukrainian championship titles.
