The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa has been founded on June 28, 1981in Lomé. She is therefore celebrating her 45th birthday this Sunday. A very special anniversary as the continent prepares to host the first Olympic event in its history. Our association has come a long way: 45 years serving African sport, 45 years of commitment to our athletes, 45 years of building a united and ambitious Olympic Africa, emphasizes its president Mustapha Berraf. We celebrate this anniversary with grateful humility towards our founding fathers, and with renewed determination for the decades to come. »
