Together, we go further! The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) and the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize a partnership. Within this framework, the two IFs will collaborate in order tooptimize costs and environmental impacts associated with key areas of governance. The two organizations have already agreed to co-fund the participation of delegates at the IOC Medical Conference and the Workshop on the Prevention of Competition Manipulation in 2025.

The agreement is based on three pillars: shared resources, possibilities for co-financing and pooling ; the transfer of knowledge, via a regular exchange of experiences and best practices ; and cross-promotional initiatives, aimed at improve the visibility of both sports and their respective athletes in the period leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

« We are pleased to strengthen our cooperation with the ISSF – a federation that shares our commitment to exemplary and progressive governance, and which is open to innovative approaches to optimize costs and impacts, comments Pierre Trochet, president of IFAF. The establishment of new intelligent collaboration models is a cornerstone of IFAF's growth strategy, as we have demonstrated through our transformative partnerships with professional leagues. This MoU (…) allows us to achieve mutual benefits and efficiencies, and for IFAF – as a young and ambitious federation committed to implementing best practices – to benefit from the wealth of experience held by our peers well established. »
