Jean-Claude Killy received by Kirsty Coventry in Lausanne

IOC

Two Olympians face off. IOC President Kirsty Coventry received Jean-Claude Killy, triple Olympic champion in alpine skiing in 1968 (downhill, slalom, giant slalom), at the organization's headquarters. A significant visit, as the Frenchman had not been there since… 2014. The Director General Christophe De Kepper, the Games Director Christophe Dubi, and his predecessor Gilbert Felli also participated in this exchange.

Still an honorary member of the IOC, Killy was presented with the torch of the Milan-Cortina Olympic GamesAt 82, he has become more discreet, but has transformed himself into a spokesperson for the integration of Val d'Isère on the map of the 2030 Games in recent months. He was notably present in December to welcome the members of the IOC Coordination Commission.
