It's done. With just under 500 days to go until the opening, the organisers of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Games have unveiled the ticketing for the Olympic and Paralympic event. For the Olympic Games (6-22 February 2026), tickets will start at €30, with over 20% of seats available for less than €40 and over half (57%) for less than €100. For the Paralympic Games (6-15 March 2026), they will start at €10 for children under 14, with over 200.000 tickets (around 89%) available for less than €35. In detail, the cheapest tickets for the Olympic Games are for the preliminary matches of the men's and women's ice hockey tournaments, where tickets for the finals (for the men) will be sold for between 450 and 1.400 euros. The most expensive tickets for the Olympic Games – just under 3.000 euros – are for the closing ceremony in the Arena di Verona, a vast Roman amphitheatre. Taking the example of the Paris 2024 OCOG, the Italian organisers have chosen to impose a draw to obtain a time slot for the purchase of tickets during the first phase of sales. It will begin in February 2025. Tickets for the Paralympic Games will be offered from the following month, without a draw. From April 2025, the remaining Olympic and Paralympic tickets will be put back on sale on a first-come, first-served basis. All tickets, Olympic and Paralympic, will be exclusively presented in digital format.
