Celebrated for the first time on May 24, 2025, the International Biathlon Day returns on May 30th. Events are planned in 31 countries. Unsurprisingly, France, Germany, Norway, and Italy are among them. More interesting for the International Biathlon Union Countries less present at the top level, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Japan, Lebanon, China or the United States, will also mobilize.
National federations and clubs are encouraged to mobilize to promote sport to as many people as possible – and especially young people – with introductions, races and all sorts of family-friendly activities. It's an opportunity to " reach a wider audience and to develop the biathlon community together "Athletes will also be invited, including Dominik Windisch and Nicola Romanin in Italy."
