The artistic posters for the upcoming Winter Games were unveiled at the Milan Triennale. These works were created by ten Italian artists under 40 : Beatrice Alici, Martina Cassatella, Giorgia Garzilli, Maddalena Tesser and Flaminia Veronesi for the Olympic posters, and Roberto De Pinto, Andrea Fontanari, Aronne Pleuteri, Clara Woods and Giulia Mangoni for the Paralympic versions. The Olympic rings, winter sports and the mountains were notably in the spotlight.
« Since 1972, artistic posters have helped shape the visual and cultural legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, comments Angelita Teo, director of the Olympic Museum. This new generation of young Italian artists continues this proud tradition.
