
The Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) has made its choice. Meeting in plenary session, the body appointed its chefs de mission for the next two editions of the Olympic Games. Demosthenis Gyrousi, representative of the Hellenic Winter Sports Federation with the COH, will be the Greek Chef de Mission at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. The role will be entrusted to Petros Synadinos, representative of the Hellenic Archery Federation, two years later for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. He held the same position during the Paris 2024 Games. The two men will be responsible for put their delegation in the best conditions to perform. Greece won eight medals in Paris (including two in athletics and rowing), but has never won a single medal at the Winter Games.
