Sylvain Pangou Mbembo was previously the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense and President of the Gabonese Handball Federation. Among the measures he wishes to implement are: revising the status of the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOG); and organizing an event to reward the best Gabonese athletes. create Olympic clubs within schools, businesses and the armed forcesto broaden the base of participants; organize Youth Games in each province; better support athletes by creating a commission of high-level athletes and by advocating for the State to create a multidisciplinary training center ; initiate administrative procedures to create a Gabonese Sports Tribunal; or rely on a network of influencers for more active communication on social networks.
