It is a tremendous opportunitynot only for Friesland, but also for the Netherlands, to make a name for itself on the international stage, said Sports Minister Mirjam Sterk. This has also a positive impact on our children who, watching the Dutch stars glide on the ice from their sofa, might want to take up skating later. »
