The consultation process is accelerating in the Briançonnais region. While Solideo des Alpes françaises 2030 has been collecting citizen input since May 26th, two public meetings have been confirmed. The first will take place wednesday 10 junefrom 18 to 20 p.m., and will be dedicated to the Olympic Reserved Line (LOR)This project must propose " a comprehensive plan for the route between Briançon and Le Monêtier-les-Bains, with priority given to public transport ».
Another meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 17, at the same time, and will focus on the athletes' village at Fort des Trois TêtesThe site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is slated for renovation to accommodate approximately 900 athletes. There are also plans to rehabilitate the Schappe textile factory. After the Games, these sites would be converted into housing.
