We prevent attacks from taking place almost every month. » Faced with terrorist threats, the Vigipirate plan was raised to its highest level. The services of the Ministry of the Interior have also embarked on a verification of the profiles of volunteers, employees or service providers for the Games, a screening which has already led to the exclusion of 715 people, including 10 on S files. Gérald Darmanin's entourage ensures by besides that the number of guests for the opening ceremony, currently established at 220.000 people, could be further reduced if the risks are considered too high.
