Nice move for French athletics. Visiting Kingston, Bernard Amsalem, the president of the FFA, and Ghani Yalouz, the DTN, signed an agreement with the Jamaican Athletics Federation. A three-year agreement which will notably facilitate the exchange of experiences between the two structures. This partnership aims to "continue exchanges between coaches and young athletes", to "strengthen the training of coaches, athletics judges and managers, "to welcome athletes from each country, particularly during their participation in meetings”, and to “participate in events promoting athletics, such as the DécaNation for France and the Jamaica International Meet for Jamaica”. France should thus benefit from Jamaican sprint expertise. In exchange, the Jamaicans will be able to benefit from French skills, particularly in the field of jumps.
