
The eight host cities The matches for the next Women's World Cup are known. FIFA has unveiled the tournament map, which will be held in Brazil in 2027. Belo Horizonte (Estádio Mineirão), Brasília (Estádio Nacional), Fortaleza (Arena Castelão), Porto Alegre (Estádio Beira-Rio), Recife (Arena de Pernambuco), Rio de Janeiro (Estádio do Maracanã), Salvador (Arena Fonte Nova) and São Paulo (Arena Itaquera) will share the matches. These eight speakers had already been mobilized during the 2014 World Cup.
Twelve cities were candidates. Belém (Estádio Mangueirão), Cuiabá (Arena Pantanal), Manaus (Arena da Amazônia) and Natal (Arena das Dunas) therefore remain on the floor. The choice was made following “ a technical assessment by FIFA with a view to guarantee the best reception conditions for the 32 participating teams and the operational and commercial success of the competition, but also of maximize growth and visibility potential long-term outlook for women's football in Brazil ».
