World Boxing welcomes five new membersIts executive board validated the candidacies of the national federations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Indonesia, Romania and Trinidad and Tobago. now has 111 members : 36 in Europe, 32 in Asia, 24 in America, 12 in Africa and 7 in Oceania. It is further proof of the momentum that World Boxing is experiencing, says its president Boris van der Worst. These nations are now eligible for the first World Boxing Championships in September, followed by the World Cup Finals and our third Congress in November. These events will cap off an important year for World Boxing after we were recognized as the International Olympic Boxing Federation in March 2025. »
