Un multi-year memorandum of understanding The agreement was signed in Lausanne between the International Fencing Federation (FIE) and the International School Sport Federation (ISF). This represents continuity, as the two organizations have already been working together for several years. Abdelmoneim El Husseiny, interim president of the FIEGulnora Saidova, FIE Secretary General, Željko Tanasković, ISF President, Hasnae El Ayoubi, Executive Director, and Antônio Hora, Vice President, were present for the signing ceremony.

The two organizations will collaborate, in particular within the framework of a World School Fencing Championship, scheduled to take place in Egypt in two years. The event will bring together 250 athletes in the U15 and U18 categories. The FIE and the ISF will also work on the training of school sports instructors and on promoting fencing as an educational tool worldwide.
