The International Fencing Federation (FIE) has announced that the prize money for the upcoming World Championships (July 22-30), the amount of 1,02 million dollarsThe prize money will be distributed equally between the men's and women's events. $480.000 will be awarded to individual medalists ($40.000 for a winner, $20.000 for second place, $10.000 for third place), and $540.000 to team medalists.
