
The International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Endeavor Streaming have concluded a five-year strategic partnership.This collaboration should in particular make it possible to launch a new version of the FIH's global streaming service, Watch.Hockey, and improve digital fan engagement. The platform will broadcast over 600 live events, including the World Cup, Pro League, Nations Cup, Junior World Cup, Hockey Fives World Cup and Indoor World Cup. Fans will also have access to competition highlights and historical archives, on the web, Smart TVs and iOS and Android mobile devices.
FIH President Tayyab Ikram said in a statement: “The new version of our streaming platform, Watch.Hockey, will play a more important role than ever in improving the visibility of hockey in the world. By partnering with Endeavor Streaming, I am delighted that we have been able to convince a true leader in this field to help us achieve this major goal for us, and to reach a new level.” Endeavor Streaming will also provide guidance on audience development, technical deployment and content operations for strengthen the FIH's digital strategy and allow it to broaden its commercial horizons.
