FIFA launches the race for hospitality

2026 World Cup

FIFA is innovating. It has announced the official launch, since Thursday, November 21 (until February 16, 2025), of the first hospitality program open to the general public. It concerns the 2026 Men's World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, the largest in history with a final phase of 48 teams. The formula is rather vague, since it is explained that fans can now guarantee their priority access to hospitality packages by purchasing “ deposit vouchers ». Their prices start at $500, they are fully refundable, but FIFA does not specify the amount of the hospitality packs. The program is managed by On Location, official hospitality partner of the 2026 World Cup, also partner of the IOC for the Paris 2024, Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Games. In a second phase, voucher holders will be invited to choose from the possible options. The deposit vouchers will then be deducted from the price of the package. A so-called general sales phase for hospitality packs will begin after the voucher conversion period closes. As for the more traditional sale of tickets for the 2026 World Cup, it will not begin until the end of the next Club World Cup, scheduled for mid-June to mid-July 2025 in the United States.
