No rival for Lappartient, ready for another term

The International Cycling Union has published the list of candidates for its presidency and executive committee. Voting is scheduled. September 25, in Kigali (Rwanda), on the sidelines of the Road World Championships. David Lappartient, who left the CNOSF to concentrate on his re-election, has already succeeded in his mission since he is the only candidate to run for president. He will therefore be re-elected for a third four-year term, until 2029.

The suspense will be in the election of the members of the steering committeeTwo candidates are in the running to represent the African Confederation, three for the American continent, three for Asia, ten for Europe and two for Oceania. The UCI Ethics Commission has verified the eligibility of all candidates, whose names are as follows:
