The outfits worn by the volunteers at the ceremonies are a tribute to Senegalese identity and local craftsmanship.

The official uniforms of the volunteers for the Dakar 2026 ceremonies were presented during the April 4th parade, on the occasion of Senegal's Independence Day. The Youth Olympic Games organizing committee had launched a major competition Last year, stylists, designers, creators, and couturiers presented their proposals. This is the Algueye fashion house which was ultimately chosen.
