Ten years after Shenzhen 2011, the Summer Universiade will soon return to China. The FISU council awarded, this Friday March 1 in Krasnoyarsk, the organization of the 2021 edition to the Chinese city of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan. It will succeed Naples, Italy, where the 2019 Summer Universiade is due to take place. The Winter Universiade in 2021 has already been allocated to Lucerne, Switzerland.
