Russia's isolation from the international sports movement is gradually reducing. The agency TASS announces that the Russian national youth gymnastics teams will travel to China this year, probably in the spring, for a joint training camp with the Chinese. Valentina Rodionenko, the head coach of Russian gymnastics, told TASS that an official invitation had been received from the Chinese federation. “ For adults, I think we will have to wait until the end of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to consider a meeting between our two countriesshe explained. But for young people, the internship in China could take place in the spring, after the Russian championships in Sochi (March 11-18).” Chinese and Russians already participated last year, at the end of November, in a joint competition reserved for young gymnasts.
