The Climbing World Cup calendar is now complete. The International Climbing Federation (IFSC) has announced that Guiyang (China) will host the final round of the Speed World Cup this season, September 12 and 13. Guiyang comes replace the Klagenfurt (Austria) stage, which must have been canceled following the withdrawal of a sponsorChina will host three World Cup rounds this year, following the opening events in Keqiao (bouldering) and Wujiang (difficulty and speed) in April. The calendar will also take top climbers to the United States, Indonesia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, France, Spain, and Slovenia.
The Guiyang stage will be particularly important because, beyond the points it will bring to the general World Cup classification, it will be inserted a few days before the World Championships climbing and para-climbing in Seoul (September 20-28).
