In the heart of the action last weekend with the World Games Series, Chengdu continues to actively prepare for this summer's World Games (August 7-17)The executive committee of the 2025 edition has thus formalized the signing of a partnership with Sichuan Airlines, which joins Xtep as a global partner of the event. The airline will provide discounted flights and air tickets for World Games participants.
"This partnership guarantees athletes, officials and supporters world-class travel experiences, thus strengthening Chengdu's position as a global sports hub", the IWGA points out. Two Sichuan Airlines planes will also be decorated with the Chengdu 2025 theme to promote the Games worldwide. José Perurena, president of the IWGA, believes that Sichuan Airlines' support "will help make the 2025 World Games a global event", pointing "Sichuan Airlines' extensive connection network" like a postman facilitator of the arrival of athletes and spectators.
