Birmingham will take on the American accent

SportAccord

Absent from the calendar for four years, the SportAccord Convention is making its return by giving it a very American touch. Less than three months before the event, which will be held from April 7 to 11 in Birmingham (Great Britain), the organizers announce the presence of two NFL experts. Rob Alberino, vice president of content and production for the Kansas City Chiefs, is a veteran of the professional American football league, having spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers. In Birmingham, he will be accompanied by Scott Kegley, vice president of digital strategy at AMB Sports + Entertainment, owner of the Atlanta Falcons. The two men will speak during a session dedicated to the strategy of North American leagues in terms of building a brand and long-term investment in fans. The 2024 SportAccord Convention, the first since the 2019 edition in Gold Coast, Australia, will be held at the International Convention Center in Birmingham. It will be placed under the theme of the power of sport.
