Football Australia has unveiled the next edition of the Women's Asian Cup, scheduled for 2026. It will take place from March 1 to 21 in five stadiums: Stadium Australia and Western Sydney Stadium in New South Wales, Gold Coast Stadium in Queensland, Perth Rectangular Stadium and Perth Stadium in Western Australia. The dates and venues of the competition have yet to be validated by the executive committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), whose next meeting is scheduled for December 3. As a reminder, Australia has been awarded the organization of the Women's Asian Cup in May 2024. The country already hosted the event for the first time in 2006. Its national team lost in the final, against China, after a penalty shootout.
